Lordy my kitchen renovation is done.
MY-KITCHEN-IS-DONE!!!!
Since moving into our new place we've done so much work. I'm talking pulling out plants, sanding floors, painting and building so much flat-pack that I know half the staff at IKEA by name.
I'd love you to take a look inside my new kitchen – I ADORE it. And that's huge to write because I was very skeptical buying an IKEA kitchen (sorry, I just was...). We’d lived with a beautiful Impala kitchen for years and boy was it great quality. We loved it. Just as well because we spent our life savings on that baby to make it perfect. My new kitchen, however, had a very-very different budget.
Here's a pretty picture showing everything we bought and the budget breakdown. So proud to say we were very comfortably under $5,000. We actually came in at $4,638 - that's way under right?!?
Here's a video tour of my kitchen
Now mummas I'm not the only one to renovate or be thinking about one. Share with me in the 'comments' what's the one thing you're so glad you put in your kitchen reno? Or if you're still dreaming of one, what would you love to include? Wouldn't it be great to have a whole list of 'essentials' for mummas planning their reno to have a read of? I sure wish I had that!
Stace x
**** THIS IS NOT A SPONSORED POST. I WOULD HAVE SAVED MYSELF $5K IF IT WAS - LOL!***
PS. The next 'room' to sort is my vegetable garden and I'll be sure to share that with you too. At the moment I am busy growing seeds from the most amazing mumma blogger, Krystie @ The Fresh Legacy 'Kitchen garden box'. This box is beyond amazing, it splits the vegetable seeds in to growing seasons of the year, tells you exactly how to plant them, what plants to put next to them and even goes as far as to tell you what to do with the produce. I adore passionate mummas with amazing products that genuinely want to make this world a better place. Pleas do check out her boxes here, they'd be the most beautiful birthday or house warming gift.
