Life is BUSY this time of year, so I want to show you how you can meal prep healthy dinners for your family.
Because let's be honest, some nights you're home and others, well those you're not even quite sure what happened because every kid seems to have a Christmas concert, or sports on at the same time!
So this healthy meal prep takes you through some easy, healthy recipes you can make up and turn quickly into dinner or into the babes lunchboxes. Either way, there is healthy food you're excited to eat prepped at home so you can save yourself the takeout cost.
Here's the exact recipes I used....
Steps In My Meal Prep Session:
1. Shop your freezer - I checked the freezer for what I had. I had some pork belly so I popped that on to cook before I even went to the markets.
2. Planned -I wrote a list of exactly what I wanted to cook, in order for which would take the longest to shortest. That way, I could use the prep time well.
3. Shopped - I bought just what I needed, and that is big for a foodie like me. I love all the things! I spent $270, and that included some other items I needed for the pantry.
4. I found 1-hour to prep - I kicked the kids out, popped on some music and cooked.
5. Cleaned the kitchen & fridge - I'm not in the habit of doing that weekly, so it took me 5-mins.
6. Cooked - I started with the meals that took longer to prep, first. I made a couple of batches of my fermented kombucha gummies as they take an hour or so to set. Then I moved on to the meals I needed to 'cook' in full, through to the ones I just needed to prep. It helped it flow.
7. Cleaned - Everything went away, the dishwasher went on, it was ace.
8. Felt like a rockstar - Check out some photos below of how the meals were. I often share what we're eating, the sides, all the stuff on my Instagram, so be sure to follow along there too.

Great kitchen gadgets I used in my meal prep:
Slow Cooker: I like this one because it has a timer with high and low functions
Pyrex: I have 11, 9 and 6 cups of these
Veggie chopper: This one is great because it also has a grater and mandolin.
Glass airy-fryer: Most air-fryers have non-stick, plastic coating full of chemicals. This glass one doesn't and goes straight in my dishwasher.
